Good evening.
Today's dinner
Foie gras steak (with mushroom sauce)
Shark fin soup
and a swallow's nest dessert
was what I would have liked to have
but instead I had
dry ramen (T/N: without its soup base).
I am still weak (T/N: new, inexperienced), aren't I.
I also went back and bought a houseplant to take home with me.
I should try to get to sleep faster today too.
My legs are totally swollen.
*This is the first line of a Japanese children's song, A Rolling Acorn (Donburi korokoro). Listen to the song and take a look at the lyrics here. It's a good thing I watched Uta no Onii-san (starring Ohno Satoshi) or else I wouldn't have a clue what this was. Lucky!
